Ah...the dirge that is summer tv season.

There are glimmers of hope here for me with cable at least. I will be watching:

WEEDS, NURSE JACKIE, TRUEBLOOD and possibly MENTAL on CBS I believe. Of course I am thrilled with SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. I have this thing about dance 8-)

I still can't believe none of you have seen BREAKING BAD. Sheesh...what does not appeal about a mild mannered, terminally ill Chem teacher becoming a meth dealer? It's such a family show....... :?

Umm assuming I have the time, probably some of the same shows I watched last summer - In Plain Sight, The Closer, Eureka, Burn Notice etc. Haven't checked out any new summer run shows yet. :ugeek:

I will attempt to keep up with TrueBlood, but seeing as I don't have HBO which means I'll have to download it, and I work full time and will be keeping a full time school schedule this summer as well, we'll see how that goes.

Monk and Psych for sure. And as embarassing as this might be to admit, The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Haven't really decided about the new shows, but Merlin and The Philanthropist sound like they could be interesting.

And this belongs in the 'I kid you not' category.

Following TRUEBLOOD there will be a new series starting on 6/28 called HUNG about a high school basketball coach who wants to make money from his impressive appendage 8-)

I've been watching ROYAL PAINS and I find that I like it...... I usually like Mark Fuerstein (the lead) but not so much here. I do find the supporting cast to be wonderful though.

I just watched DROP DEAD DIVA about a shallow skinny model who dies but then ends up in the body of a chubby brilliant attorney. It's wonderful. This is a LIFETIME show.
